Customs House - South Shields 5th June 2024

June 4th, 2024 by Danny Reed

It was great being back at the Customs House, performing the timeless songs of yesteryear in my show "Danny Reed Sings Swing for Charity."
Many thanks to the Customs House staff for their invaluable help in putting on the show.

It was marvelous being there, and the audience was singing along and tapping their feet to songs like "Frank Sinatra's 'Fly Me to the Moon,'" "Dean Martin's 'That's Amore,'" "Bobby Darin's 'Mack the Knife,'" and others.
Here's to my next show, and "Always remember you are never too old for Swing.", as the comments from my audience show:

"Enjoyed a lovely afternoon with family relaxing and listening to the singer.
Great music and impression of Dean Martin. I enjoyed the Elvis songs and Mack the Knife. Thank you for something different."

Jo Curry - Cleadon

"Great show enjoyed listening to your set. My son is a professional singer and this is the first time we have we have both seen a swing act together. Daniel covers Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Andy Williams. My late dad would have loved your set too, we run an amateur support group supporting the community sector."
